on friday, our crib and dresser came in!
it's not what we originally ordered, but since we ended up having so many issues with the original, we just decided to start over.
and we found this beauty:
on saturday, we helped host a wedding shower for our good friends, Adam and Melanie. i made some wedding-themed sugar cookies but forgot to take pictures :(
but they looked something like this. not nearly as cute, but you get the idea:
i also made some DELICIOUS milky way cupcakes. i got the recipe off of pinterest and they turned out to be a hit. the frosting actually has melted milky ways mixed in... YUM! again, i forgot to take pics, so this one from pinterest will have to do:

i also made them a little monogram wreath (inspired via pinterest, duh). it started as a plain paper mache "C"
and with a little twine, ribbon, and felt, it turned into this:
and lastly/randomly, this is my 100th post!
i have had this blog since January of 2010, so that is an average of 3.8 posts per month... and my life is not even that interesting.
oh well, here's to 100 more!
