saturday we went to elitch gardens, which is like a six flags on a much smaller scale, and it is a theme park/water park combined.
we weren't there too long because there were only a few rides we cared to wait in line for, so as we walked to the parking lot we found a ton of peolpe playing in a little creek... under a bridge. 
but there was one moron DIVING into this tiny creek
ca-razy! 
then we walked over to where they were prepping for the firework show that night (because my husband is a pyro)
that night we went to a firework show at a park near our house 
and for the actual 4th, we went to a Colorado Rapids soccer game. in the rain... and the cold...
we wore sweatshirts. in july. 
everyone was huddled under the covering wearing jackets and buying blankets (which they actually sold out of. in july!) 
but they still had fireworks. we just had to watch them from our car because, well, it was cold! and raining.
i hope your holiday was much warmer!
That's crazy about the weather! Your firework pictures came out great. My 4th was much warmer and the setting was beautiful but my firework pictures are lame...
