Blakely turned 6 weeks old this week!
We visited Katie after she had oral surgery,
and Beth was able to meet Miss B:

And then pooped all over herself.
So she ended up in this:
She was introduced to the pups for the first time.
They were super sweet and wanted to lick her to death,
but she didn't seem to care either way.
Holli came too!
Mom made it back in town from her 2 week vacation, so we hung out all day with her so that she could make up some baby snuggles:
And then Blakely made it to her first soccer game to cheer daddy on!
She also witnessed her first firework show, and surprisingly,
she really loved it!

I was worried the sound would bother her, but she didn't even flinch.
She just stared at all the lights the whole time.
She even fell asleep during the finale!
I told her she missed the best part, but I think she is just waiting until Wednesday for the real thing.
That's exactly how Pax felt about his first fireworks last year (minus the sleeping part because he feels like it's appropriate to refuse to sleep anywhere but his crib)!! I'm hoping he's cool again this year. Your baby girl is growing up so fast! She's just precious. I love how sometimes she looks bald and sometimes you can totally see her dark hair.
