First Fourth!

To celebrate Blakely's first Fourth of July, we started by going to the parade down Independence with Gigi like we always did growing up.

She loves her Gigi!

Ahh the shoes! They kill me.

After the parade, we headed to the Bownds house for some barbecue and homemade ice cream. Yum!

And then it was off to the races!

We met up with the Johnson family at Lone Star Park for the horse races and fireworks.



The girls loved it. They were cheering, "Go number 2! Go number2!"



B got lots of love from Tiff.

And she even borrowed her hat :)

I don't think the kids (ahem, Ryan) could have waited any longer...

 

We had so much fun! I can't wait for next year.
