the next morning, all of the guys and kiddos went boarding in Breck while me and Jamie went to a spa in a hotel at the top of the mountain.

me and Jamie ready for our massages:
we all met back up a few hours later. here is half of the boarding crew (Ryan, Tyler, and Ahlix):
we all went back to the hotel, and we had to get a picture with baby :
it was snowing pretty good, so we decided to get in the hot tub for a little while before getting ready for dinner.
the Salazar family:
and the Thompson family:
it was snowing so hard that we were all soaking wet by the time we made it to the restaurant from our walk to dinner.

and here's the whole group:
| Tyler, Joey, Jamie, Tab, Ryan, Paul, Patty, Ahlix, and Jayden |
we ate at The Dredge, which is the same restaurant we went to for our second anniversary as discussed in this post. the restaurant is on a dredge in the middle of a lake, so we had to get a pic on the bridge.
after dinner, we all decided to walk around downtown for a bit while the kids got some crepes. i loved that it was still all lit up with Christmas lights and garland. it made it feel so festive with all the snow.
the next morning, we all met for breakfast and said our goodbyes. Ryan and i walked around town trying to find something for the baby, but we had no such luck. i guess we will just have to bring her with us next time ;)
we hopped in the car and made the long trek back to Denver, but we stopped along the way at the Dam Brewery. it's a cute little sports bar/brewery whose motto is Dam good food, Dam good beer, Dam good fun. sounded like our kinda place.
we made it back to Denver that night, and checked into our hotel, The Cutis by Doubletree. this place was crazy fun. each floor has a theme, the lobby had cartoons playing, and our wake up call came from Austin Powers. it was like nothing we had ever seen. the elevator had a funny saying at each floor as you exited like "Fourteenth floor, now get the hell out", and there were old comic strips framed throughout the entire place. definitely unique.
our view from the room:
their girls restroom in the lobby:
and this was above the toilet:
it made for a fun stay!
but the best part of our trip was when we were awoken at 7:30am that morning. Ryan's corporate office called and offered him the Colorado Manager position. he accepted, and we are so thrilled! he will have to travel monthly to meet up with his guys, but that just means more trips to Colorado! i am so proud of him and all of his hard work. he definitely deserves this position, and they couldn't have found a better guy for the job!
