two years down,
a lifetime to go.

happy second anniversary to my sweet husband.
it is crazy to think that 2 years ago we were in jamaica soaking up some sun and the realization of what had just happened. we are married, bonded together forever.

i am blessed beyond words.
thank you for choosing me!
i was trying to put into words why i married ryan, why he is my favorite, and how i knew that we'd be together for the long haul, and i saw this quote that basically sums it up:"Love does not consist in gazing at each other,
but in looking outward together in the same direction."
-Antoine de Saint-Exupery
i think it this the perfect reminder. as we change, and as life changes, we have to remember why we chose eachother. it's because no matter what life hands us, we are in it together.
no matter what.
monday was our anniversary, but we celebrated the weekend before. we drove to keystone on friday afternoon and we snowboarded all day. we then drove to breck where we rented a condo and went to the hottub that night, made dinner, and opened presents.
look what he gave me:
i got him (and myself) a trip to Sky Venture, which is where you can do indoor skydiving (we are going tomorrow!!). click on the link and watch the video- it looks pretty cool!

on saturday, we went to dinner at this cool place called The Dredge. it is a floating restaurant in the middle of a pond that you walk over a bridge to get to. we had the BEST steak we have had in a very very long time!

here we are walking back from dinner in the freezing wind!!
on the night of our actual anniversary, we went to the Denver Aquarium for a meet and greet with the Denver Nuggets (the basketball team). below are a few pictures from the night, but please do not ask me who anyone is because i have no idea (except for the first 2- they are pics of Carmelo Anthony) that is all i know.

then that night we came home and Ryan was throwing a toy for Kallie, and well, it scared the crap out of the cats while they were eating and this what happened:and yesterday i was at the park with the kiddos when i saw this:
this lady just wandered up with a bag full of wet clothes and just started stringing them on the nearby tree... and this is in Highlands Ranch (a super nice area) not downtown Dallas or something...
then she just stood there in the breeze mumbling, and then started walking over to the playground where we were playing (all alone). and that's when we left. fast.well, it was quite an eventful week. hope yours was as fun as ours!

I love the updates. I check weekly to see if you've added anything. This one is like my favorite movie. I had all the emotions in one. I got teary eyed, laughed and got nervous within a few mintues. Thanks!
