our last day (my b-day!) was spent in new jersey.
we were going to do some fist pumpin' in atlantic city...
but instead, we decided to go to six flags great adventure to experience some
record-breaking roller coasters!
but first, we needed some lunch. and since i'm married to ryan thompson, lunch was chick-fil-a. but not an ordinary chick-fil-a. the chick-fil-a in jersey had SWEET POTATO FRIES
and they were delicious!!
we made it to six flags, and this is what we parked by:
this beautiful beast is called kingda ka.
it is the tallest coaster in the world!
AND the fastest coaster in north america.
it.was.amazing!
we rode it twice, back to back, which resulted in a headache for the rest of the day, tears steadily pouring down our faces, and mild whiplash... but oh em gee, it was SO worth it!
and because it was my b-day, my sweet hubby ordered me a fantastic b-day shake
on our way back to the hotel that night. it was fully loaded with
chocoalte chips, banana, chocolate syrup, cherries, graham crackers and oreos.
YUM!!
then it was across the bridge we go back to philly!
i am so glad that i was able to see him for my b-day, even if it was only for a couple of days.
