philly- day 2

so day 2 in philadelphia was all about scouting around downtown.

our first stop was at LOVE park.

how cool is that pink fountain??



i was trying to cover up the "Liberty Mutual" printed accross his chest...



we had lunch in rittenhouse square, and then did some shopping. while we were in the Coach store, guess who walked right past us holding hands.....

i couldn't believe it.

after the excitment with the celebrity sighting, we decided to take a stroll through Independence Park.

we saw lots of pretty trees

after the park, we went to Franklin Square to see the liberty bell.

then we walked downtown for a while

and then stopped for a drink outside to people watch before the storm rolled in

when the rain came, we headed back to the hotel for dinner, and ryan tried out his purchase from the day
(a shaving kit from this super cool store called the art of shaving)

we had an incredible steak dinner at the hotel, and then we hit the hay for our next busy day.
