have you been watching American Idol?

i caught the last 2 episodes and they have been REALLY entertaining! a chicken suit, a girl dressed as a guitar, a guy wearing a cape with mirrors, glitter and feathers glued to his face who said he is "THUPER at everything!", a human beat box, and LOTS of people with missing teeth... i could go on.

but on last week's episode, there was a 62 year old man who called himself General Larry Platt who performed a song/dance that he wrote himself and not to mention, stole the show! if you aren’t walking around singing this, i have a feeling you will be soon. it's catchy, hilarious, and the dude has a point- you really should invest in a belt! you HAVE to watch this:



not gonna lie, i kinda want this as my ringtone. give this guy a record deal! Gen Platt is THE MAN!

so, last night's episode was pretty eventful. there was this guy named Cornelius who learned his dance moves from his "adult entertainer" friends... hmm... while singing, he jumped up and landed
on his jewels in the splits and i couldn't help but laugh as he exclaimed, "my pants done ripped" (haha) and boy did they rip! all they way down to his knee. it was highly entertaining!

then there was jared. he seriously believed he had a good voice as he desecrated "Amazing Grace". he screached his way through it TWICE in an attempt to prove to the judges how great he was. since he wouldn't leave the room after being repeatedly rejected by the judges, he was thrown to the ground, cuffed and arrested. SERIOUSLY?? cuffed and arrested? that may have been SLIGHTLY over dramatic, but the funniest part was after about 10 minutes of silence and an empty audition room Simon looks around and says, "so, yes or no?" haha! you have to see this:
