i'm sorry i have neglected you. there is so much to fill you in on.

1. last weekend my mom and i went to scottsdale, az and had a fabulous time!
2. the weekend prior, ryan and i braved the wind and snow and went boarding in breck.
3. last week i started my new job as a nanny for the 2 kiddos who, by the way, i am in love with!

i was slightly struggling with the fact that i basically work from 6am to 6pm and i am pretty much raising their child. it is definitely long hours and it's weird leaving when it's dark out and coming home when it's dark out. but i've realized the joy in my job. i mean, look at her. she is precious. she is hilarious and adorable and a toot all at the same time. the little boy Ryan is only with us a couple days a week, and he is so much fun! he's a boy. he's loud and big and rough and it's so funny. i love it. they are kinda total opposites because they are the same age but he is huge and she is tiny. they are really entertaining together.

this is Alena dancing in a laundry basket. who knew how much fun that could be? she has had it out for 5 days and it never gets old.

here she is munching on a cheerios necklace in her juicy couture outfit. for serious. she is 18 months old and wears nicer things than i ever will...

and dancing with her baby. the kid LOVES to dance. i tell her to shake her booty and she gets all into it. hips and all. I should start calling her Shakira!

see? cute, right? i guess waking up at 5:15 isn't THAT bad when you get to play with these guys. i have only taken a nap once while she was napping, but i think it may become a daily occurence because it was wonderful!
