Native America

The week of my birthday (over a month ago...oops!), Ryan had to go to Oklahoma for work so me and B decided to tag along. It was her first time to stay in a hotel and she slept like a champ! I'm thinking it was because it was so dark in there (Note to self: Get blackout curtains!). Our little girl also learned several new tricks while we were there. She rolled from her back to her tummy for the first time! She also found her toes and now cannot keep them out of her hands and/or her mouth. And she also started teething... Poor baby.

(On a side note, the day we got home, she rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time. It was a busy week for this girl!!)

Im so glad we were able to join Ryan this trip!





We had lots of fun while Ryan worked, and then he always took us for a nice dinner after he was done for the day.
We got to hang out with Caitlynne and Pax twice. That sweet baby! Such a flirt.


We had dinner and drinks with the whole Miller family. 

And finally got to meet sweet baby Brynlee (who looks hilariously identical to her daddy)!

We toured the stadium at OU and walked around campus a bit with Caitlynne and Pax to get the kids familiar with their future school, of course. 

He even picked his seat for the games! Front row... Smart boy.

I think she liked it!

The difference just five months can make:









Me and B back in March at 32 weeks preggo and us now in August at 3 months old.

We went to Bison Witches and it was delicious! So me and B went back with Ryan the next day :) We also celebrated my bday at Saltgrass and again at Zio's (we couldn't pick just one).


They were both delicious and I was totally spoiled! Everyone went in and got me an iPad! I also got an OU coffee mug


some flowers delivered to our hotel room from my lovie


and a hilarious mustache card from Britt. 

The mustache dances and sings: "I'm a mustache, a mustache. A sexy birthday mustache. I'm dirty and I'm trashy, itchy and super classy. And I'm here to wish a happy day to you. Hoowah!" I love it. And the babies do too. Holli dances every time I play it :)

On our way home, we met up with the Millers one last time for lunch at Moe's.  What would a trip to OK be without stopping at Moe's? Pointless. It would be pointless. 

But it was fantastic! Just getting away from home for a little while is always so fun. And getting to spend almost a whole week with my bestie was, well, the best!
