painting with a twist

The first of every month is called Ladies First at the church.

It's where a group of ladies get together and do something fun.

This month we had an artist from Painting with a Twist come out and lead us in a painting. Mom and I went to a similar place called Canvas and Cocktails back when I lived in Colorado. I wrote about it here.

This was before we got started. They were nice enough to draw out the pots for us.

Here we are about half way.

And here is our finished products.

We both kind of broke the rules: I painted my pots blue and green instead of red and brown, and mom didn't add the wine to hers. I like that ours turned out a little different.

I think our first paintings back in Colorado were a little better.

But that could have been the wine...
