Ryan's First Father's Day!

I could not be more thankful to be Ryan's wife.
Being linked with him for life is a gift greater than I can even wrap my mind around. And having him for the father of my child is an ever bigger blessing. Blakely is so lucky to call him her daddy. He works so hard so that I can stay home with the her, and he loves me despite my flaws. He is my rock and I love him more than anything.

To celebrate, we went to Top Golf with his family last night.

I also have to say how wonderful my father-in-law is. He is so kind hearted, and he has always treated me like his own. For that, I am very grateful.

Chatting it up with Grandpa Jerry

I was always a daddy's girl.
I have a feeling Blakely will be the same way.
My dad has so much to do with who I am today, and I am so thankful for that. He has taught me not to sweat the small stuff, that poems and lyrics HAVE to rhyme, that having a sensitive side doesn't mean you're weak, not to be afraid of getting dirty or messing up your hair, that laughter is healing, that working hard pays off, to fight through the storms, and most importantly, what a good father looks like. Although we have had our struggles, my dad has been a great father. I had an incredible childhood, and I do not take that for granted. Thank you for all of your sacrifices, and for always loving me.
I love you, dad.

Dad meeting B

This morning Ryan opened his gifts and then we went to lunch before dropping him off at the airport. He was in Colorado last week, and just came in for the weekend. He gets back on Friday, and will be in town for 2 weeks before going to Boston... Busy boy!

An electric shaver
A shadow box filled with his scrub top from the hospital, 2 pics of him and B,
a sono pic, his hospital bracelet, and her hat from the hospital

Close Up

At the airport saying goodbye to his girl.

Happy "First" Father's Day to a man who is greatly loved, admired, and just so fun to be with!
I couldn't have picked a more perfect guy.
