Well, here we are... the last month you will be considered a "baby" on all of my app updates. But don't worry, pretty girl, you are still very much my baby. Even though, this month, out of all others, you seem to have really grown up. Your chubby baby cheeks have thinned, and your beginning to loose a little of your babyish look. Ughhh...it's going by too fast! How in the world are you almost a year old?
Here is what you have been up to this month:
-You are usually a great eater, and pretty much have whatever we are eating. With the occasional piece of cardboard or toilet paper thrown in...
-You sign "all done" after meals or really anything you no longer want to do. Just recently, Britt started singing to you, and you immediately signed "all done" as if to make her stop singing. It was hilarious!
-You have started repeating after us more. You have really started to try and say what we are saying.
-You are standing for long periods of time, and even taking steps here and there. Just no consistent walking.
-You climb on everything! Your favorite place to climb is the refrigerator, and you love pulling up on the shelves and digging through the condiments in the door. I'm certain you would spend all day in there if I let you.
-You are super active, and love being tossed and flipped.
-You blow kisses
-You also give kisses. Still mostly to animals and babies. Even pictures of animals or babies in books and on signs. Such a lover!
-Love to hug on animals. Even the stuffed variety. This melts my heart.
-When I pull your socks out, you hold your feet out for me. You do the same with your arms for shirts and coats.
-Love to carry bags and heavy objects. My purse weighs more than you, but you still manage to walk around with it.
-You have expanded your incredible dancing skills. You used to just bounce and bob your head, but now you bounce, booty-drop, shake your head like a mad woman, and try to stand on your toes.
-You know to hold the phone up to our ear. You even lean your head toward it and hold it next to your shoulder.
-You point at everything!
-Wearing 6 and 9 month clothes, and size 3 diapers and shoes.
-Still have 7 teeth.
-You got your ears pierced this week!
Blakely Ryan, I do not know how you have grown up so fast! However, each month just gets more and more fun. You constantly have daddy and I rolling on the floor laughing. You have brought so much joy and laughter into our household, and even though I'm exhausted at the end of the day, I wouldn't have it any other way. We love you to the moon and back, baby girl. And we are so incredibly blessed to be your parents, messes and all...
