TEN MONTHS

It's official.... Blakely has now been on the outside longer than she was carried on the inside! She can't seriously be in the double digits now, can she?? Slow down little lady, I'm not so sure I like this whole "growing up right before my eyes" thing. And just when I think you can't get anymore fun, here you go proving me wrong . I feel so blessed that I get to spend all day with you; watching you learn, discover, and grow.

Here is a little of what you've been up to:
- Standing unassisted for longer periods of time
- Climbing on everything
- Hates having clothes or diaper changed because this requires you to be still- Which you aren't very good at
- Basically eats whatever we are eating
- Still clapping, waving, and high-fiving
- Enjoys carrying large, heavy objects. Cracks us up.
- Loves giving kisses. Especially to animals and babies
- Signs "all done"
- Says: bye-bye, mama, dada, "woof, woof" like a dog, "ooh, ooh" like a monkey, and mimics quite a bit. If we make a vroom sound like a car, she tries to do the same. And also the elephant sound, and roaring like a lion, bear, dinosaur, etc.
- Thinks coughing and sneezing are hilarious, and always mimics when someone does it
- Shakes head "no" when doing something you aren't supposed to be doing. Most of the time it's when you are headed for the wine rack to shake it so that you can hear all the glasses clink. For some reason, you love that. But on your way over, you look at me and shake your head in anticipation of me saying "no, no"
- Happiest when being thrown around or doing flips. You are a super adventurous, little wild child
- Loves music, and dances every time you hear it. Especially loving the Hot Dog Dance on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
- Love being chased and playing tug-of-war
- Never stops talking and squealing. You even cry and talk at the same time.
- Is a master at peek-a-boo or "where's Blakely"- You will pull clothes, blankets, towels, etc. over your head and then yank them off and stare at us until we say peek-a-boo)
- You get much pleasure out of gurgling your milk
- You have 7 teeth (4 on top, 3 on bottom)
- Wearing 6, 6-9, and some 9 month clothes
- Size 2 and 3 shoes
- Still in size 3 diapers

We celebrated her 10 months with pumpkin waffles and a new favorite, pineapple.




We also went to lunch with Katie and Kam at The Purple Cow, then played at the park and the splash pad with mom and Holli.



























Another monthly post has come and gone. Before I know it, my baby will be 1!

We love you so much, sweet girl, and can't wait to see what you surprise us with next month!
