while working at the trade show this weekend, i had the privilege of hanging out with an incredibly inspirational woman. her name is Jo Anne Brooks and she is a jewelry maker from Laredo.
but she is not an ordinary jewelry maker.
she makes her jewelry with her feet.
thats right, her feet. she had polio as an infant, and it affected the muscles in her arms. she overcame the unfortunate obstacle that life had dealt her, and she is now living with her husband and expecting her first
grandbaby in September. oh, and she makes fabulous jewelry!
this lady is amazing.
