One Week...

and i will be heading back home to Dallas!

i accepted a job as an executive assistant to the CEO of a marketing agency in Dallas called TaCito Direct (http://www.tacito.com/index2.html). he is actually an old client of mine from my previous job so it should be pretty cool since we know eachother and i have worked with a bunch of his staff. i know it was quick. i hadn't even really started looking for a new job, but he called me on wed. and said he needed an assistant and heard we were looking at moving back to town. the next day he offered me the job and told me to start the 15th. i was shocked! is God's timing good or what?

we will all meet up on friday and spend the day in Colorado Springs and hopefully spend saturday in Vail. then after Labor Day, i will load up my car and hit the road with mom! my start date is September 15th so i will have time to get back and get things done before my first day. i am pretty excited overall to get back home. i miss my fam, my friends, my church, and it will be nice to get back in an office with co-workers. but, i will SO miss my hubby and kitties!! we have plans to see eachother once a month until he is transferred back as well, but it will be tough to say the least.

i will also miss the summer weather of 80 degrees and the mountains. oh, the mountains!

the blizzards of ice and snow, and spring weather of 30 degrees... not so much.
