Recap of the week

so we made a few purchases the past couple of weeks. one was my fun new chi with the matching thermal bag :)then we got a new dining table. it is SO much cuter in person! it is counter height with wood and leather barstools. and with the leaf, it can seat 8:

we also got a new bed and dresser. here is the bed:

then we made an 11 hour drive to Oklahoma for our friend's wedding. and AND to see wifey and jared!

here was our view of the sunrise on our way down friday morning:

the bride went to OU and the groom went to OSU so they compromised and had the wedding in Norman with orange as the color scheme.

we were able to meet up with wifey and jared after the wedding for dinner in OKC. it was WAY to short of a visit, but we are so glad we got to hang out with our favorite couple!

i was missing Oklahoma so badly this week, because guess what happened as soon as we got back in town...

that's right, friends. MORE snow... and lots of it. i'm beginning to think that they don't have a spring or summer here. i think it just skips straight back into fall.
